Ei, uitati ca am publicat si eu bine cunoscutele reclame eRDeeSh. A se nota ca prin publicarea lor nu intentionez promovarea lor, nu de alta dar nu cred ca pot sa exprime mai mult decat hilaritate.

A short history of my IRC / online identity

Begining with 2006 I’m using my real name as my nickname: Razva. I retired from IRC but I still join Undernet from time to time.

After moving to Timisoara (in 1994) my mom began to work at the Research Institute. There I first “met” a computer, games (Warcraft was the first) and internet (yea, it was VERY slow but note that 99% of Romania didn’t heard about Internet so I find myself lucky). Used EFnet for a short period, until Undernet began to be stable.

I first used the “Cucu” nickname. I received this nickname from my friends because I never swear and, when I was angry, I was telling “ce cucu’ meu?!” (to hard to translate:P).

After that I began to dislike Cucu and moved onto another nickname that I won’t specify here. I was a CSC member for some time. X got down.

The next nickname I used was Calator (traveler). This because some personal problems I had and fights between staff members. I left Undernet along with some other staff members (csc/opers) for some time.

After that I moved onto LightAnge. This was because some fights with a “DarkAngel” person (don’t confuse it with DarkEngel:P) on another network. X got back on Undernet. I returned to Undernet but refused to join any staff. Most of Undernet changed. I still miss To, c00kie (RIP) and some other friends.

For a short period (while being in Denmark) I used MrX. After comming back into Romania I used LightAnge again.

After Undernet modified IRCU 9+ char I began using LightAngel. I still use this nickname and seems I’ll keep it. I will NOT join any “official” position on Undernet nor have anything to do with Undernet’s staff. Don’t ask me for the nickname that I didn’t specified here because nobody will never know it.

What I like/dislike on IRC (or the way to have a good online relationship with me):

One of the most important things for me is the language used online. Don’t use “man, mah, buey” or any cool/l33t talk. I think that a simple “hi” or “hello” can do the trick… IRC/chat should evolve not involve so you should use an “evolved” language.

I will not allow “to personal” discussion with persons I don’t know.

I am NOT “best friend” even if I don’t use /ignore as often as other persons do. I think that anybody needs to be heard but that doesn’t means I’m your best friend.

Don’t tell anybody I sent you unless I tell you to do that. Every time I send Z to Y, I tell Y that Z will contact him. If Y tells me that some Z guy is telling him that he’s comming from me, usually Z will get into trouble. I really hate that.

Don’t try to bribe me. You’ll 100% get ignored or worse.

Don’t tell me about “r00ts, exploits and scanners”. I used that stuff some years ago and, belive me, they aren’t a good thing for humanity. Usually I get very pissed off by script kiddies. Being a newbie is not bad (everybody was a newbie) but being a kiddie is so skip the “hax0ring” part when you see me.

Don’t push it. I’m a pacifist and I get pissed off very hard; still I react very “aggresive” when/if needed.

I will not help you with “personal problems” even if “a good friend of mine” sent you to me. My friends know my principles so none of my friends will send you to me. For opless channels join #HelpChan, for take-overs join #zT and for X matters join #Cservice.

Try to notice/query me only if needed. Usually I’m looking on many channels and doing many things at the same time. The best thing to do is to ask me on any channel I am (try #Clouds) if I have 5 free minutes. If I reply, good. If not, please skip the “hey! are you here?! why don’t you reply?!” part because obviouse I’m busy.
Sometimes I have an IRC client open but I’m not lookingonto channels. If you need my help on another channel where I’m @ or + you can try to notice me a single line. If I still don’t reply than you lost me and means that I’m away and I forgot my IRC client open.
